We are really sorry to tell you about the tragic death of Mark. On Wednesday 18^h April Mark was involved in a serious car accident resulting in severe brain injuries and trauma. Despite excellent medical attention he died in the early hours of Thursday 26^th April with Penelope by his side. Mark’s funeral was held in Dubai on Monday 30^th April. His body was cremated.

We are sure you wish Penelope, Finley, Zeffie and Amber your sincere condolences at this tragic time.

Finley at Six and a Half

Last night Finley said out of the blue, "Did you know 110 minus 98 = 12! As fast as Zeffie & Amber develop skills such as walking, talking and eating, Finley is becoming a young man! As Mark zooms past 40 and Penelope crawls towards 40, Finley makes us realize the leaders of tomorrow are hot on our heels!!!

Amber Walks!

Today, International Women's Day, Amber officially became a 'walker'! With grace and confidence Amber stood up, unaided and with balanced confidence, she walked across her bedroom and giggled with joy! Quickly followed by the cheers of happiness from Zeffie.

Zeffie Walks!

January 2007 saw Zeffie walk, first with the assistance of her cart and now on her own. As you can see from the picture Amber likes to be a passenger!

Finley ski's

At 6 years of age Finley has skied his first descent from the top of a 3500m mountain! After learning to ski at Ski Dubai, the indoor snow centre in the Mall of the Emirates in Dubai, Finley tackled his first blue and red run on the 21st January 2007 and proved he has the mettle to become an extreme sportsman!

2007 started with a landmark occasion, Zeffie walked for the first time! On the 1st January, she managed to walk across her room unaided and Amber stood alone for a 'family' record of 11 seconds! Their adoring brother Finley, as well as Grandma and Grandad were there to applaud and cheer!

Happy Birthday to Zeffie & Amber

On the 15th September Zeffie & Amber celebrated their first birthday and what a glorious occasion it was! The year has been challenging, but exceptionally rewarding and we thank everyone who has helped nuture our two miracle daughters to great health...XXX

Birthday Surprises

The highlight of Finley's birthday was his Seasame Street themed party, where Big Bird visited and Mushref was full of balloons, which Finleys floated home under! His 'live' birthday gift was a 6 month old goat, whom he named Soubhi (Early Morning in Arabic), Soubhi lives at the paddock, with the resorts horses, camels, rabbits and donkey.

Finley's 6th Birthday Party

The 10th September is always a memorable day in the house hold with Finley's birthday party a distinctive celebration. On the occasion of his 6th birthday Finley and his 24 guests were entertained a magic show, ballon bending show, Monster Statues, Stick the Nose on Elmo, Pass the Parcel, Pony rides and Dinosaur Pinatas.

Chelsea Visits Dubai

Dada and Chelsea (now 18 years old) were reunited when she visited Dubai in August with her friend Julien. Staying at Palm Tree Court they visited the desert, the mountains and the water pools of Hatta and took a cruise on Bateaux Dubai.
